Can I work in the UK on a study visa?
Yes, you can work in UK on a study visa, but this shall be on a temporary basis and not a permanent one. You cannot even be self–employed or start your business in this case. As a Student on a full-time Student or Tier 4 visa, you are subject to certain restrictions like working for no more than 10 hours per week during term time.
This is when you pursue a below degree level which is a Foundation or Pre-Sessional course. If you are studying at a degree level then you can devote 20 hours per week in term-time.
